WELCOME TO TMS...

There are several reasons Toronto Montessori Schools, for almost 50 years has been internationally recognized as a pre-eminent, leading independent school.

The primary one is our success in offering the Montessori academic philosophy to guide the student in developing a lifelong love of learning and to become an independent, compassionate and contributing member of society. As they have matured, our graduates, in all walks of life, have honoured themselves as individuals, and reflected upon the academic and emotional foundation they built as TMS students.

Our nine acre Bayview Campus offers an exceptional, inviting and supportive learning opportunity for students from 18 months through to grade 6. 

 

Our new Elgin Mills Campus in Richmond Hill provides a state-of-the-art facility for grades 7 to 12.  Here, students can continue through High School, which incorporates the prestigious International Baccalaureate Programme.

 
Our parents are an important part of our environment as well, and we encourage parent participation in their child's education.  To help parents better understand the Montessori academic philosophy and its benefits, we offer Montessori 101, Journey of Discovery, Coffee with the Head, and a series of events and activities which encourage family participation and the development of the parent community through Parents as Partners, committees and many  volunteer opportunities.
