We are proud of all of our graduates. In our history of more than forty years, many of our graduates have become well known for their accomplishments in the world of politics, finance, law, commerce, medicine and the arts. More important though is the fact that our graduates, regardless of other accomplishments share a common degree of success-they are well rounded, self-confident community minded citizens of their world with a life long love of learning and respect for their fellow man.

TMS GIVING PROGRAMMES

  

Annual Giving

 

In addition to tuition fees, the continuing voluntary philanthropic commitment of each TMS family is instrumental in enabling the School to provide the best possible educational experience for our students. We rely on the support of parents, alumni and friends of TMS in the form of an Annual Giving Programme to introduce important enhancements to the School each year e.g. to the Library, computer lab, athletics programme, as well as funding special projects.

 

Last year’s Annual Giving Programme included enhancements to the following areas at TMS:

 

  • Athletics - New sports uniforms and new sports equipment
  • Arts - Partial funding for sets and backdrops for the school plays and the Holiday Concert
  • Technology - Complete set of new computers and 19”monitors for the technology lab; a set of portable laptop computers and laptop cart; enhanced computer capability in Elementary and College classrooms; and the expansion of the wireless network
  • Building Infrastructure - Creation of two new classrooms; relocation of our staff room; facility enhancements to ensure student comfort; and the upgrade and expansion of the emergency communication system (telephones and speakers)
  • Scholarships and Bursaries - At TMS we pride ourselves in enrolling high calibre students from diverse backgrounds regardless of their temporary or permanent financial circumstances. Generosity of the community allowed several students to receive bursaries to continue their education at TMS.

    This year we are striving for 100% participation from all families in the TMS community. We recognize that all families do not have the same financial resources and therefore urge parents to contribute at their financial level of comfort. Individuals who contribute this year to the Annual Giving Programme will be recognized in the TMS 2007/08 Annual Report, and donors will be issued a charitable receipt by the School.
