Richmond Hill leads the Class

As Internationally Recognized TORONTO MONTESSORI SCHOOLS breaks ground for

new IB/Montessori high school!

 

RICHMOND HILL, Ontario, April 25, 2008 – Toronto Montessori Schools (“TMS”) celebrated the groundbreaking ceremony for its high school campus (Grades 7 through 12) located at 500 Elgin Mills Road East.  TMS is an International Baccalaureate (IB) World School and this initiative is ground breaking. TMS is a leader and one of the first in North America to partner IB and Montessori in a middle years and high school format.   Dr. Zederayko, the Head of Schools, Richmond Hill Regional Councillor Spatafora and Ward Councillors Cohen and Papa, Board Trustees, Baymills Ratepayers Association, TMS Founder Helma Trass, faculty and staff and friends of TMS were present at the groundbreaking ceremony.

Internationally Recognized Flagship Toronto Montessori Schools (TMS) Opens New International Baccalaureate High School in Richmond Hill

 

Richmond Hill, ON Aug __/CNW/ - Toronto Montessori Schools (TMS) announced today that the grand opening ceremony for their newly built Elgin Mills Campus will take place on September 26, 2009 at noon. TMS, an IB World School, grades 7 through 12 is now located in this state-of- the-art facility.   “The Elgin Mills Campus is a perfect extension to our existing Bayview Campus that boasts an internationally recognized Montessori (toddler to grade 7) program”, Head of Schools Glenn Zederayko explains, “Our School creates lifelong success stories from 18 months to 18 years to wherever they want to go”. The ribbon cutting ceremony will take place at the new Elgin Mills Campus location. The mayor of Richmond Hill, local dignitaries, board and tms community members will be in attendance and an afternoon of family fun will follow. TMS, an IB World School established in 1961, is the flagship Montessori school in Canada. Now, with more than 680 students, it is the largest Montessori school in North America and the only Montessori school in the GTA accredited by Canadian Association of Independents Schools (CAIS), Canadian Council of Montessori Administrators (CCMA), Canadian Educational Standards Institute (CESI) and Council of Independent Schools (CIS).

 

TMS is now accepting appointments for toddler through grade 12.
