Development of coordination, balance and strength is an important component of our Toddler Program. The bright, large gross motor playroom invites children to explore and delight while developing control of their bodies. The playroom contains a large built-in sandbox, climbing equipment, water play, balls, hoola-hoops and beanbags.
At TMS we believe that young children need to explore the outside world in order to develop their innate connection with nature. The full-day students go outside to our specially prepared Toddler playground each afternoon where they further develop and refine their gross motor skills. Ravine walks are a weekly endeavour and allow the children to appreciate and care for the natural world.
