Flagship Montessori
Our Montessori Method is designed to support each child to become an exceptionally well-rounded, responsible and self-reliant individual who will demonstrate a love of learning, self confidence and sense of fair play throughout life. As one of North America's largest Montessori schools, we know how to nurture each child's desire to learn. For students from the Toddler level to the end of grade 6, our Montessori Method provides inspiring learning using all five senses.
Our Montessori educational experience is a wonderful process of discovery where each student enjoys developing high levels of concentration, motivation and self-discipline. They are presented with ongoing opportunities to make individual choices that inspire new learning. Each child is encouraged to take pleasure satisfying his or her natural curiosity.
The Montessori educational experience at TMS provides the means for children to discover and develop critical age and stage related characteristics at a time when they are particularly receptive. This includes the enhancement of the following characteristics:

As a Montessori school we know that the process of growth and development is an uneven event in each child's life. Consequently they learn at individual paces. We recognize and support this while promoting the timely realization of foundational milestones such as solid skills, as well as a deep and broad knowledge base. Teachers know their students very well and treat them as individuals enabling them to strive to reach their full potential in academics, arts, athletics and citizenship.
